Every year we make a video of our team guys riding the bikes from our latest complete bike line. This year we have Alex Magallan, Eric Lichtenberger, Erik Elstran, TJ Henderson, Anthony Wilson, Jim Cielencki and Seth Peterson putting the 2012 Aaron Ross EX, Gary Young EX and Forecaster Special to the test. The bikes are only modified by adding pegs and sometimes removing brakes. The Rifle peg is an Ultralight 7075-T6 aluminum peg with internal “rifling” (seen above). The rifling saves weight while still keeping it dent resistant and durable. Ideal for park and light street use.
The Rifle pegs are available in 14mm as well as 3/8′s, and can be rotated 5 times for longer peg life.

Just been working back up to full health for the DVD. I went down filming with Tony Ennis for GUTI about a month ago and broke my collar bone in 2 spots an fractured it in a third. I’m back filming with the crew in S.D. now, I had had surgery in Tulsa the previous week. Van channeled his inner-journalist to bring you a spot check from one of BF's faves, Sayreville Park. This just in!

Sayreville is your local park. Is it the closest park to you or do you make the hike because you enjoy it?
It’s about 20 minutes from my house. There are a few parks that are closer, but none with the flow that the bowl at Sayreville has. The closer ones are those prefab, no personality, everything smaller than four-foot parks. It’s the only concrete park within an hour.

You seem really comfortable at Sayreville. Would you say it’s where you are most at home riding?
I'm most at home at the trails, but as far as parks go, Sayreville is my favorite. Not that I think it’s better than every other park, it's just that I've spent so much time there that it's comfortable. It's like your favorite T-shirt -- you've worn it so much that it just fits.

Are there still lines you want to do that you haven't?
There are a few things that I've found that need to be done. I'm sure there are also a few that I haven't even found yet.

Do you ever get bored at Sayreville? What would you change or add to make the park better?
It's hard to get bored because I don't ride there for a couple months in the winter because of snow and also a couple months in the summer because of trail season. I recently had a spell of over a year without finding any new lines and then out of nowhere, I found a few new lines in the matter of a few weeks. As far as changes, I would force the city of Sayreville to start turning the lights back on. They have badass lights that light up the park real good but stopped turning them on when some graffiti and vandalism started.

You have lived in a few different places over the years. What would you say has been your favorite local spot?
It kind of changed over the years. The Edgewood bowl and backyard jumps growing up, Sheep Hills in the 90's and now Sayreville and the trails in eastern PA. Local spots are weird. It doesn’t really matter how good the spot is, it's the fact that you spend so much time there that you know every nook and crevice. My favorite thing is watching someone annihilate their local spot. It gives you an idea of how good they really are.
